1. Bring reusable bags to the grocery store when you go shopping . Never use plastic bags for that will do harm to our environment. 2. I know you have heard it before…in the summer set the temperature in the your house a few degrees higher and in the winter set it a few degrees cooler. You wont notice the difference, but your wallet and the environment will! 3. Reuse the water you have used in washing clothes or vegetables. Your closestool won't tell the water is good or bad. 4. When you're done filling up that piece of paper with various to do lists and life goals, don’t throw it away. Flip it over and use the other side. You just halved your annual doodle-pad usage in just a single step. 5. Packing box can be used to wrap a gift for your friend. Never squander your money on these fancy things. A DIY gift is the best way to send your wishes. 6. Household batteries present a major toxic disposal issue worldwide. Collect the disused batteries and you'll be adding much less to the global toxic landfill problem every year. 7. Unplug home appliances when you’re not using them. When was the last time you had an emergency and just HAD to have toast in like six seconds? Keeping oft-used (and less-than-oft used) appliances unplugged when idle will significantly reduce your power usage over the course of the year. 8. Walk more, Drive Less. Driving less can be as easy as parking in a central location or carpooling with several friends/family members. The less time you spend driving, the less Carbon Dioxide is released into the atmosphere. 9. Houseplants can add beauty to homes, but do you know that you can use houseplants for air purification instead of air fresheners. 10. If you must drive a lot, drive/buy a more efficient car. There are plenty of fuel efficient/enviro friendly vehicles to choose from. There's a fuel-efficient car out there for just about any budget.
