Is it possible to get Google Chrome to work on Windows Vista 64 bit? Definitely! With a few simple tweaks to the shortcut used to launch Google Chrome, you can run Google Chrome on Windows Vista 64 bit - error free! This tweak will even work on Windows 7 64 bit as well!

Step 1
If you haven't already, download and install the latest version of Google Chrome.

Step 2
Close Google Chrome if it's already open.

Step 3
Locate the shortcut icon used to launch Google Chrome.

Step 4
Right-click on the shortcut icon and choose "Properties".

Step 5
Click on the "Shortcut" tab.

Step 6
In the "Target" field, add the following right after chrome.exe: --in-process-plugins

Step 7
Please notice that there are exactly "two" dashes before the "in-process" part.

Step 8
It should now look similar to the following: "C:Program FilesGoogleChromeApplicationchrome.exe" --in-process-plugins

Step 9
Click on "OK" to save your settings and continue.

Step 10
That's it! Now Google Chrome should work correctly on Windows Vista 64 bit or Windows 7 64 bit.
