A Gypsy's Tale: The Tower of Secrets Walkthrough

Are you clever enough to outsmart the Tower of Secrets and save all that you love?

This is an Interactive Hidden Object Game.

Click on the OPTIONS button to adjust your audio volume and disable the custom cursor if you don't want to see it.

Click on the MENU button to return to the Title and exit the game.

To travel to a new area, move your mouse over the place to which you want to travel. When the mouse turns into an arrow, click to go to the new area.

If you have already been to an area, and you've obtained the Map Piece for that area, use your Map to quickly access that area.

If you get stuck, use your journal, HELP button, or HINT button to find a solution.

Sparkles will appear if there is a Hidden Scene.

Collect crystals to purchase valuable items and obtain Map Pieces.

The MENU button pauses your game and gives you the option to return to the Title Screen, where you can quit your game.

The OPTIONS button opens a menu, which allows you to adjust music, sound, mouse control, and game mode (windowed or full-screen).

The number of crystals and tasks in each area are shown on either side of the title.

Your inventory is shown in the left panel at the bottom of the screen. If you have more than four items, arrows will appear, allowing you to scroll through them.

Your journal is shown in the right panel at the bottom of the screen. This lists the tasks on which you should focus.

The HELP button gives you general help – a reminder of what you should do next.

The HINT button gives you specific help – pointing out something you can do in the current scene. If there is nothing to do, it will direct you to the HELP button. The HINT button takes time to recharge between uses.

The MAP allows you to move quickly from one area to another.

The CRYSTAL pouch shows the value of the crystals you have collected.

Crystals allow you to purchase items at the General Store and obtain Map Pieces.

Crystals are not all worth the same amount. Different colors have different values.

Collect all the crystals as soon as you enter a new area. This adds a Map Piece to your Map. When you have a Map Piece for an area, you can use your map to travel to that area instantly.

Your journal lists your current tasks.

As you progress through the game, entries are added to, and removed from, your journal.

A Key Object is an object you can interact with or pick up.

When the mouse is over a Key Object, the mouse shows gears or a hand.

To interact with a Key Object, click on it. Some Key Objects are locked by Hidden Object Puzzles. To interact with a locked Key Object, you must solve the Hidden Object Puzzle first.

A Hidden Object Puzzle consists of one large circle surrounded by several small panels. Each small panel contains a Hidden Object that you need to find.

To open an active Hidden Object Puzzle, click on the Key Object you are trying to obtain.

To close a Hidden Object Puzzle, click inside the large circle.

To place a Hidden Object in a Hidden Object Puzzle, locate the Hidden Object in the scene and click to pick it up. Then, move the Hidden Object over the large circle in the Hidden Object Puzzle, and click.

A Hidden Scene provides a close-up view of an area.

When a Hidden Scene is available, it sparkles once in a while.

When the mouse is over a Hidden Scene, the mouse shows a magnifying glass.

To open a Hidden Scene, click on it.

A Mini Puzzle is a small puzzle that you must solve to open a locked area or container.

When the mouse is over a Mini Puzzle, the mouse shows a puzzle piece.

To open a Mini Puzzle, click on it.

Most Mini Puzzles allow you to use the SKIP button to bypass the puzzle.

Click the HELP button in the top left corner of a Mini Puzzle to see the instructions.

People give you tasks to complete, items to use, hints, or may just chat with you.

When the mouse is over a person, the mouse shows a face.

To interact with a person, click on the person.
