Abu Dhabi – January, 2011: As an added initiative towards its continuous efforts in improving the quality of healthcare services with a view to benefit the community at large, Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) - A SEHA Health System Facility, announced a temporary shift of its Al Qua’a Healthcare Centre facility to a new location. This move has been commissioned owing to comprehensive renovation of the old facility which is scheduled to begin on February 10, 2011.
The renovation has been planned with the aim to improve and equip the facility at par with international healthcare standards and enhance efficiency. The project is expected to be completed within six months following its commencement. During this time, the Al Qua’a Healthcare Centre operations will be temporarily shifted to a villa that is located opposite the clinic’s current location.
“SEHA has always, since its inception, aimed high and strived hard to provide world class healthcare facilities, services and awareness to the people of Abu Dhabi” said Dr. Abdul Hadi Al Ahbabi, AHS COO. “We urge all those living in the Al Qua’a Healthcare Centre neighborhood to remain rest assured that the change is for the betterment of the facility towards providing them with the best healthcare services, and request the people to bear with us during this time and support this initiative”, he said.
This initiative by AHS aims to provide the people with a better equipped and better serviced facility that will overcome loopholes that have been identified by AHS experts, the people will still have access to most of the services at the temporary facility opposite the clinic during this transition period, and convenient alternatives will be suggested by AHS experts where required.
The center announced that X-ray services will be temporary closed during the first three months of shifting the facility, and will resume during the months of June, July and August through mobile clinic services until the new facility is ready.
During this time, the Al Qua’a Healthcare Centre administration may be contacted to respond to any queries and will be open to suggestions towards the betterment and further smoothening of this transition.
