[p] Allergies are a disorder of the immune system that is caused by a reaction to something that you have come in contact with. A lot of people have to deal with allergies on a daily basis, but at least they have some kind of allergy relief to help them make it through the day. Some people don't have allergies as severely as others, but none the less, any kind of allergy can be very frustrating.[br /]

When it comes to allergies, there are quite a few allergens that are very common. Many people have very severe fish, nut, and soy allergies. A lot of people also have milk and nickel allergies. Since these products are made of different ingredients, the reaction your body takes to it will be different.[br /]

The symptoms of allergies vary form person to person. These symptoms also depend on what kind of allergy you have. Aside from regular allergies, there are also seasonal and mild ones. Needless to say, each of these disorders of the immune system have symptoms all their own. Regular allergies may cause a person to have watery eyes, or eyes that itch, stuffy or runny nose, and some sneezing. As for mild symptoms, one may experience swelling and a little discomfort. Seasonal symptoms are a little different. There are the ones that are known to respond to pollen and fluid in the lungs, causing asthma attacks.[br /]

Soy is an allergy that is very similar to the one of the peanut. Since they have so much in common, it's best for you if you avoid both irritants to stay clear of a breakout, rash, or something else happening. This can be a very severe irritant if you are not careful, so it's best that you avoid any foreign food since they usually cook with peanut oils and some foods are soy based.[br /]

Milk is also a irritant for some people. This kind of allergic reaction is usually found in young children. Even though this is true, you can still be affected by this as an adult. Some people have instant reactions, while others have to be exposed to milk on many occasions. Some symptoms here include lethargy, crying, irritability, cough, and runny nose. This type of reaction happens because there is a reaction in the body due to the proteins in milk known as albumins. Even as an adult, you could experience the very same symptoms as a younger person.[br /]

Many people who have sever allergies tend to be irritated by fish as well. If you happen to fall into this category, you should avoid fish at all costs, as this is a irritant to the body that is very serious. It is very important that you take the time to look and carefully read all labels of foods that are pre-produced because many products are enriched with fish protein. Here, many reactions can occur, such as stomach pains, asthma attacks, and anaphylactic shock.[br /]

Dust mites are another factor that cause trouble for many people. Dust mites are tiny little bugs, or arachnids that are equivalent to pollen. These little guys feed on things such as, dandruff and dead skin. The bad thing here is that these arachnids reproduce, live, and die in the bed linen that we sleep on. In order for this to happen, the conditions will have to be food, warmth, dark space, and a little damp.[br /]

Everyone deals with allergens very differently. Some people just need one dose of medication and then they are fine, while others need to be prescribed one or two medications to keep things under control.[/p]
