Arai Helmets Are The Lamborghini Of Motorcycle Helmets

Motorcycle helmets are like cars, they are good ones, average ones, and just plain awful horrendous ones. Some helmets are like old ford pintos that are on their last leg, and it’s a miracle they passed safety inspection. Most helmets are like Honda Civics, not too exciting, but they’re safe and reliable, and will last you a very long time. Then there are those select few helmets that just make your jaw drop, like a Lamborghini LP-700 driving down the street. They’re beautiful, high-performance and look like they can withstand anything you throw at them. Out of every Helmet brand I have worn, Arai Helmets are the Lamborghini of biker lids.

Company

Very few companies can claim they’ve have three generations of family in the company, but Arai can. They have been a family owned company full of motorcycle enthusiast since before you or I were ever born. It’s a good feeling to know that when you buy a helmet from Arai, you’re buying from a family, and not some huge conglomerate.

Build

The thing that sets Arai apart from the rest of the helmet brands out there, it how there lids are made. You see every helmet is 100% hand crafted by an expert with years of training. Also all of Arai’s motorcycle helmets have to go through not one, not two, but three separate safety and quality control inspections. If the helmet doesn’t pass all the requirements it’s sent back to the designer.

They also use only the highest of quality materials for their lids. Full race-spec fiberglass with a carbon fiber weaves. This makes the helmets not only safe, but strong, so they can withstand any force and deflect it across the helmet, which leaves the rider safe.

Style

Now I’m not going to say that Arai is the only stylish helmet brand on the market. Shoei, Icon, Scorpion, etc… all make amazing helmets. The thing I like about Arai’s lids is that they don’t incorporate a lot of the race stripes or flames, they go for more subtle but stylish looks, such as a flat black helmet with pirate cross. In my opinion, that looks so much better, and more intimidating.

There you have it my friends, a few reasons why Arai motorcycle helmets are the best. So which would you rather have, a Civic or a LP-700? Safe Riding!
