Are You A Doer Or A Talker?Do you take action on your ideas or do you just talk about them? It’s not enough to have an excellent idea, you have to act upon it. Think of all the things we have in our world right now. Electricity, running water, vehicles and airplanes, just to name a few. What would have happened if these things just stayed as an excellent idea and were never acted upon? Scary thought, since all of us are so spoiled with them.Nothing happens by just thinking about it. Everyone wants to be a doer, but it takes hard work, determination, drive and stamina. No matter what obstacles come in your way, you have to find a solution and go over them. You have to visualize the end result of your idea. You can’t let anyone stop you by saying, “that will never work”. If it works in your mind, it will work. No one believed Christopher Columbus when he set sail to prove the earth was not flat. He saw a vision and believed in himself. He didn’t let what other people said, stop him.Ideas are a very important part of making the world go around. We must have ideas to create and improve things. But all these ideas must be acted upon or all they’ll ever be is just an idea. Thousands of ideas get buried every day, because people are afraid to take action on them.Don’t be one of those people that miss out on a great opportunity. Don’t be one that sits around and some day says “I thought of that”! A good idea acted upon can bring great satisfaction to your life along with great success. If you have a great idea, do something about it. Be a doer not a talker.
