Normally nightlife isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Tucson, Arizona, but this desert town definitely has a lot to offer if you’re in the mood to party and take in some live entertainment. Booking a room in one of the centrally located hotels in Tucson is a great idea if you’re planning on hitting the town at night.
A great way to begin any night out is to dine in a restaurant with great ambience and a lively atmosphere. A restaurant that is sure to awaken your party spirit is Risky Business, which has live music and a cute little bar known for its famous happy hour. For a bit of Cajun food and a taste of Mardi Gras, check out the French Quarter restaurant. Other great options to get you in the mood to party are Takamatsu, Jamaica Bay Cafe, and Guadalarja Grill.
One of the coolest areas to go out for a few drinks in Tucson is the 4th Avenue area where you will find lots of university students and a environment full of revelry and energy. There you will find The Shanty, which has the largest selection of bottled beer in Tucson and O'Malley's on Fourth which was voted one of the top 100 college bars in the US by Playboy.
As well as hosting a number of lively bars, Tucson has a lot to offer in terms of entertainment if you want more than just a bar. Great venues to see live music are the Chicago Bar, Double Zero, and Guidos which have shows most days of the weeks and always on Fridays and Saturdays. Tucson also has a live theatre, the Gaslight Theatre, where you can catch local productions and get a bite to eat as well.
Book yourself a room at one of the many Tucson hotels and experience the diverse nightlife of Tucson. You won’t be disappointed!
