Back Links and Free Traffic, with Forum Marketing and Yahoo! Answers

Some marketers might feel as though today's topic of conversation, Yahoo! Answers and forum marketing are grey, or perhaps even black hat, however nothing in the following descriptions is illegal, but some approaches may be considered sneaky. The execution of these techniques is very similar in methodology, the major difference being the platform upon which you apply the technique, and the warm up process that is required for most forum signatures.In order to properly execute either technique you will need multiple profiles and multiple signatures. It would be advisable to use more than one web page to send your anchor text to also.

Forum Marketing is accomplished with a very simple procedure.

The first part of the process includes identifying forums for you niche on the big board or other boards, then sign up for forums using an alias that is only for that niche. Once you have registered, activate and log in to your new account and start responding to some posts creating a generic signature that anchors to a site that is not your primary objective, in case some early rookie mistakes get you flagged as a spammer.Write your first posts, and more if you have to meet a minimum requirement for a given post. Some sites will include your signature automatically, others will give you an option to include it. Its best to make sure that you don't post on a sticky post, and that there are not a great deal of posts before yours. In this way you can be sure that the thread will fizzle over a short time. Record all of your postings on a spreadsheet. After a two week cooling off period, go back to the original posts and change your signature to a keyword anchor text link that will redirect to your website. Save your signature, and move on to another forum. Then repeat the process with several Forums. It would be wise of you to make relevant, intelligent postings, in order to avoid having someone cite you as a spammer and report you for having your site in your signature. This is the reason that you have waited two weeks to change the signature, so that you will have time to see that the link gets buried in the thread, and you can update the signature without being identified as a spammer.

You will use a very similar method to work in Yahoo! Answers. The objective is very simply to post relevant answers to questions based on keyword phrase specific questions within your niche for a specific website or affiliate offer. However in this venue your are either going to create and answer questions or, just answer open questions that are based on keywords in your target niche. Your purpose is universal, what you want to make sure that you do is leave either a deep link or home page link in raw URL format in the answer source box, so that you can get traffic and a back link.You can use a method wherein you both post and respond to questions on Yahoo! Answers, by using more than one account to login, and using different IPs when doing so. I prefer, however, to simply answer questions generated by keyword specific searches, with snappy, relevant answers. If you decide to use the question and answer technique, not only will you need to log in with separate identities, but you will need to answer from different wireless IPs as well, in order to disguise your actual identity. Some "experts" suggest that you can disguise the answers by answering a number of posts, other than yours, using that signature. It is my preference to use multiple personalities with many profiles and answer multiple questions. with multiple answers, that are already posted by "askers" placing my URL in the resource box provided by Yahoo!.
