Generally, an immigration lawyer works side byside with Human Resources (HR) professionals in corporate firms. Theimmigration lawyer serves as the person handling the employer, local employees andforeign workers issues related to the Immigration. To ensure their job arebeing carried out smoothly, immigrationlawyers in corporate firms should have a guideline or also known as‘best-practices’. Here are some of the best practices for immigration lawyers in corporatefirms : 1) Createa standard questionnaire form that can easily be accessed by all the employees. The form must include a list of documents required and a space to state theissue or problem. By doing this, it could save both the attorney and HRpersonnel’s time rather than having to create a special form each time an issuearises. 2) Handoutsand newsletters should be given to foreign employees and workers abroad toensure they know what is going on and to make sure they are always updated withthe latest information regarding the Immigration Law. 3) Theattorney, along with HR professionals should create a manual for immigrationrelated issues. By doing this, it will be easier for them to answer questionsand give feedback about immigration related matters. 4) An immigration lawyer in acorporate firm must also be creative. In situation where unique problemsarise, the attorney must be able to come up with creative solutions in a nickof time. 5) Whenan attorney is being hired by a company, it means he is representing thecompany. In case of dual representation between the employer and the staff, theattorney must make it clear to both sides that the company has the right toknow about information provided by the staff. 6) Workfast and accurately. Most immigration related issues needed to be handled fast.If an attorney does not meet his datelines, some one might be mistakenlydeported or maybe become an overstayed worker. At the end, I'd like to share cool website withmore information on Immigration Lawyer and deportation lawyer.
