You have seen the top 1 - 5 video games we'd like to see in 3D. Do you like the games? The following are top 6 - 10 video games we'd like to see in 3D.
Top 10 Video Games We'd Like to See in 3D - 6. Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)
Another highly anticipated game to be released in 2010, the world’s most prolific driving simulation game is going to feature more than 1,000 cars, 20 tracks, NASCAR racing, and, for the first time ever, mechanical and external damage modeling based on an ultra-realistic physics engine. You can also use the PlayStation Eye to look around the cockpit of your car. Why not bump up the realism factor and throw in 3-D capabilities? Imagine driving a Lamborghini on Laguna Seca with the same visual depth and enjoyment as a real race. The only thing missing would be your hair blowing in the wind as you stick your head out the window and wonder how you got so lucky in life.
Top 10 Video Games We'd Like to See in 3D - 7. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
We’re going to reach back a couple of years and dust off one of the most original titles from the Nintendo Wii library. Super Mario Galaxy offers a different kind of Mario experience, and the physics engine, based on spherical platforms, just screams to be re-released in 3-D. The game showed the graphical capabilities of the Wii, and has become one of the highest-selling games of all time for the Wii. And how could we not have a love affair with Mario after all of his sublime 2-D-based adventures? For a game that takes Mario and his friends into deep space and the nether regions of the universe, throwing him into the third dimension is only a logical solution (or sequel) to Super Mario Galaxy.
Top 10 Video Games We'd Like to See in 3D - 8. Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PS3)
This list just wouldn’t be complete without the appearance of a pure role-playing game, and Final Fantasy XIII is also the second on the list to present a lead female protagonist: Lightning. This highly anticipated game, which has already seen massive success in Japan, uses the Crystal Tools game engine, enabling detailed CGI to be rendered in real time. The visuals would look impressive in 3-D depth, especially given the artistic visuals and unique style concepts that are a standard for the series. It’s no secret that no title in the Final Fantasy series has eclipsed the legendary Final Fantasy VII, but perhaps an infusion of stereoscopic 3-D to capitalize on the highly detailed and beautiful worlds and battle scenes is just the face-lift the series needs to set the bar for RPGs once more.
Top 10 Video Games We'd Like to See in 3D 9. Bayonetta (Xbox 360, PS3)
It’s time to release some adrenal: Bayonetta is a third-person action game packed with all of the violent, acrobatic and sexually appealing zeal that director Hideki Kamiya, who also directed the Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe series, can muster up. Set among stunning European architecture and offering a smorgasbord of detailed fight sequences (not to mention the artistically genius cutscenes that Japanese game developers are known to infuse between the action), Bayonetta offers all the placards of a game itching to be enjoyed in 3-D. Besides, with a sex goddess as the self-titled protagonist, it’s only in 3-D that we can really appreciate all of her -- ahem -- curves.
Top 10 Video Games We'd Like to See in 3D 10. Assassin's Creed II (Xbox 360, PS3, Windows)
It’s a foregone conclusion that Ezio Auditoire’s parkour-style building jumping would look stunning in 3-D, not to mention the cliff-hanging action and its interactive landscapes including the historical Italian regions in Tuscany, the Apennine Mountains, Venice, and Rome. Ezio’s stealth capabilities also offer an intriguing element to the Assassin's Creed II gameplay, which could be an interesting visual for gamers since Ezio is able to blend into the backgrounds of would be 3-D buildings and weave through the masses of unsuspecting villagers (among other characters that include a young Leonardo Da Vinci and Niccolò Machiavelli). Renaissance figures aside, this title has the potential to kick some serious ass on 3-D TVs in the future.
