Best Way to Get Gold in Plants VS Zombies

Since there isn't a zen garden in this games so what is the best way to get gold? if you have tried planting tons of marigolds but that doesn't really work too good, what should you do? Those best ways are effective to get gold in plants vs zombies.

Way 1

The strategy is to choose the first stage in quick play, and proceed like so:

1: S M P P [T] [T] [T] [T] [T]
2: S M P [T]
3: S M P [T]
4: S M P [T]
5: S M P [T]

S=Sunflower
M=Marigold
P=Peashooter
[T]=Tall-nut protected by pumpkin
(Also, select Jalapeno, Cherry Bomb, and Twin Sunflower)

Some notes:

Build Peashooters as you plant Sunflowers. Then Tall-nuts and pumpkins. Turn Sunflowers into Twin Sunflowers only when you're done with the Peashooters and Tall-nuts to accumulate more sunlight. After the first huge wave, turn the right Peashooter on row 1 into a Tall-nut.

When you get to the huge waves of zombies, let all of the zombies come to where the Tall-nuts are and place the cherry bomb where the X is and the Jalapeno where the Y is:

3: & M P [T] Z
4: & M P [T] Z X
5: & M P [T] Z

&=Twin Sunflower
Z=Zombie

Then, get rid of all Peashooters and Tall-nuts not on row 1.

Place Marigolds in all of the empty spots while watching that solitary peashooter kill the zombies until one zombie is left, then shovel that peashooter. Once you've filled all of the empty spots, start taking out the Twin Sunflowers. You still get sunlight from the sun, so you should be fine. The end result will look like this, save on where the Tall-nut and zombie are.

The zombie may have eaten through several Tall-nuts; don't worry about that, as it's one zombie and Tall-nuts will regenerate can be replaced before the zombie can even eat the Tall-Nut or pumpkin. Whenever you want to end the stage, just kill the Tall-nut on row 1 and place a jalapeno there.

Way 2

First stage in bonus, set up a melon/corn/cabbage team in the middle three rows. Plant onions at the edges next to the zombie spawn points, plant marigolds behind them.
