A recent poll taken from one of the UK’s leading hoteliers has shown that the popularity of staycations is continuing to rise despite the economy finding its feet again and with an increasing number of luxury destinations available. One reason why customers are continuing with staycations (a phrase coined during the recession of the last decade) may be due to the faith that some have in the economy or it could simply be that customers have realised that there are many great locations to be found right here in the UK and you can have a great holiday without having to spend a small fortune.
Of the 5,000 that took part in the survey, 35% said that they were staying in the UK for their holiday which is a ten per cent increase on last year’s figure. This shows that people not only prefer to stay in the UK to save money but they also prefer it when they are looking for a great holiday. This June is a great time to get away with the family for a short break as there are some great deals available. Destinations such as the UK holiday parks have got a wide range of options for families to take advantage of and it is vital that we use these deals and in June, just before the kids break up so the deals are not hiked up.
For families planning a short break or a longer break, making sure you do not spend too much on travel and accommodation is very important as costs can quickly mount up as we tend to over indulge when we are at our destinations as we tend to be freer with our cash. One thing you can look to do is to find an all-inclusive holiday destination in the UK so that you do not have to worry about food and drink (which is often the thing we spend the most money on). If you are an active family that likes getting involved in all the various activities at your destination then the holiday parks are the perfect destination for you as there is plenty on offer for all the family, no matter how old or young they may be.
When booking your family break, it is imperative to make sure you find the best deal and this June, with the sun shining, make sure you treat your family to a great holiday.
With a range of June holidays available, make sure you pick the right one and the holiday parks in the UK have the best deals available.
