Children Movies: A Fun-Filled World

Children are as interested in watching movies as their parents or grandparents. It would not be unusual to find a little child glued to the television watching his/her favourite movies. Child-centric movies deserve the attention that they get from their little viewers. These movies are conceptualised keeping in mind the fancies and imaginations which are possessed by the tiny ones. Children movies are as simple in their story as their admirers. One of the leading productions which produce child-friendly movies is Disney.

Disney has gone out of its way to produce popular animated movies such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which gave children immense joy and excitement. The Disney movies appeal to an older group of children and they are in demand as both children as well as adults are attracted towards them. The Disney movies touch the emotion of a child and reveal the moralities and ways of the society and the world in general. The stories are quite relevant and meaningful at the same time have a message to convey to the children. A few of popular characters of Disney movies are Cinderella, Beast in Beauty and the Beast.

The main characters in the movies dazzle with kindness and nicety, which inspire the little ones to imitate their virtues. Kids enjoy movies which have animals, magicians, dwarfs etc. Their world is different from that of an adult therefore to synchronise with their fantasy it is essential that the characters in the movie have a childish innocence in them at the same time they have the urge to play tricks or pranks with others. The tiny tots like the naughtiness and evilness which is present in characters such as the witch in Snow White, the Tramp in the The Lady and the Tramp etc. Children like such movies as they stimulate their imagination and bring to surface their day-to-day childish activities.

Although these movies are far from reality, yet they at some point are rooted with it, since the characters have the same kind of emotions that of a normal human being. Emotions of jealously, anger, love and attachment are a part of everyone's personality and the characters portrayed in the movies have the same kind of attributes. Some of the all time favourite of children are Alladin, Cindrella, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. The movies entice the children due to their story and portrayal of characters. Nowadays, several Bollywood directors are producing Bolywood movies, which appeal to the child audience and they are quite successful as well.
