In early days,China Unicom,the second largest telecom operator in China,is reported that its net profit in the first half fell 42.1 percent year on year to tatal 6.62 billion yuan(about 973.5 million U.S.dollar) under international accounting rules. And according to a statement from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, China Unicom's revenue stood at 76.32 billion yuan in the first half and earnings per share were 0.28 yuan. In order to turn around the falling profit, China Unicom stated that they would focus on enhancing their mobile communication service in the second half to make more efforts to optimize the Third Generation Service(3G) Network.Also,to broaden business launching new products is a vital step . As to launching new products, China Unicom’s deal of iPhone with Apple has been attracting a huge of attentions too.The two companies released a joint announcement that they had come to an agreement on bringing iPhone into China market over the next three years.The agreement also revealed that iPhone would land on China in the forth quarter this year.
