Cooling, Warming and Deceiving: the Carbon Tax

More taxation is always bad for business and good for bureaucracy. Governments that tax too high strangle production of goods, debase value in services and poison creative thinking. This is what happens with the global warming taxation, among others.

Planet Earth is a complex and open thermodynamic system receiving its energy from two main sources: the Sun and Earth's inner core.

The Sun is the primary source of energy not only for our planet but for the entire Solar System. Large specter radiation, including thermal and visible (or light), along with heavy particles in the solar wind, constantly wash the atmosphere of the Earth. This is the main heat input received by our planet from the exterior, mainly through the atmosphere. A natural source of heat.

The second energy source for our global system is natural as well and it emerges from the depths. Because Earth has a magnetosphere, it is believed that a huge molten iron dynamo spins at the center of our planet. This natural engine is responsible, in good part, for the tectonic activity at the surface, for the soft lava ocean beneath the crust, eventually for the moderately numerous active volcanoes and for earthquakes.

Everything runs in a natural way and on magnitudes that man-made technology can barely scratch. Can we change the course of events in solar meteorology and in telluric activity? Some believe that yes, we can. The success of such a feat is largely doubtful. Yet less doubt looms in the realm of thought, of darkened and approximative "computer models" that proponents of climate change insist will swap over nature at no delay, with all their calculated virtual violence. And because they somehow feel something is wrong with them, but cannot tell what and where, they left sound science aside and embraced politics, as if a louder lie, spoken by many, would make it closer to the truth.

During the eighties, the alarmists drummed the doom of an imminent Ice Age. According to them, the planet was freezing. Well, evidence of the nineties turned their ice doom into a melting gloom. Now the Earth was condemned to drown under the rising oceans, fed upon the vanishing polar ice caps. Perhaps that came from their imaginary ice of the eighties, which was built in their Alice-world of fantasy, because only this kind of ice masses would match the required quantity of water about to change coast lines, as predicted but hardly confirmed.

What these people actually do is spreading panic. They probably believe in this panic, which is another matter, not related to this article. But what counts for them is having the rest of us contaminated with panic. This is crucial for long term utopia social planning. Panic is proven to release adrenaline and diminish reason. People who reason less and fear more are vulnerable.

Vulnerable to what exactly? To sheepishly accepting more tax burdens on them. To consent they must make sacrifices and oust their hard earned comfort for some invented political cause. Because the global warming movement is nothing more than a political scheme of extortion.

Luckily for the lucid ones, mother nature proves more balanced than man. Read more about the planet's thermostat. Yes, the global cooling switch...
