A custom jewelry design starts with an idea, a concept, drawing, magazine ad or internet picture. This progresses in stages through the design and manufacturing, stone setting and finally detailing, ending in a sparkling new custom, one of a kind, fine jewelry design. We use state of the art cad-cam technology for the more intricate designs and parts manufacturing and hand carved wax models when more appropriate. The following step by step process leaves little to chance and results in the highest degree of customer satisfaction possible. Most custom design projects are completed within four to six weeks. Small modifications have much shorter turnaround, while very complex work can take longer. Fees and timelines are clearly established at the outset of the project.   Step 1. The Concept Customer submits a picture, drawing or some idea so we create a sketch from customer’s design ideas. Step 2. The Price Quote Detailed quote with total cost, sketches, stones sizes, weights, metals, time line and other relevant details. Step 3. Approval/Down payment Upon approval of quote and receipt of  a 30% non refundable down payment work will begin or orders placed.  Step 4. Wax model built If the project involves casting, a wax model will be created, giving the customer the opportunity to see the design in three dimensions. The wax may be sent by mail for approval. Step 5. Approval of Wax Modifications can be made at this stage if necessary. Upon payment aof the balance and approval, the wax is cast in the precious metal of your choice, the stones are set, and the piece is polished and detailed. Step 6. The Finished Design The finished item isready for delivery. Any additional services such as appraisal or inside ring engraving are done at this time.
