Is it any wonder that cruises were – and often still are – the transport of choice for the rich and famous? From the days of cruise travelling to be a grand, sumptuous affair to the likes of Hollywood’s finest setting sail, cruise deals are a popular choice. Offering fantastic value for money, an unforgettable experience and the chance to see a multitude of countries and cultures, it’s not hard to see why many people shun planes, trains and automobiles for the luxury of cruise holidays.
When it comes to hassle free travelling, you can’t get much easier than a cruise. Of course, security checks and checking in is still imperative, but there’s very little of the waiting around which is done when flying or travelling by train – delays are a thing of the past! Plus, your luggage is taken to your room for you, so you can simply sit back, grab a cocktail and wait for the cruise to set sail rather than grappling with luggage trolleys, fighting to get to your seat or desperately waiting for your suitcases on the carousel.
The ability to take in many countries is another fantastic advantage. Whilst on trains you can enjoy the countryside and surroundings and flying you are sometimes able to see the sights from afar, you ultimately are travelling to one destination – others from there involve yet more transport. When you cruise and stay , that’s all taken care off for you. You unpack once and wait for your ship to dock at the next exciting location.
Plus, the on-board staff will be able to help you get the most out of your time at each destination. Unlike other holidays where you are left to find the way yourself, on board staff are there to help so you gain as much as you can from your stop. Check out the range of excursions available which can range from city tours to jungle adventures to beach parties. You’ll be spoilt for choice!
Finally, cruises are holidays in themselves! Cruise holidays include your food, drinks and entertainment so instead of wasting time waiting for your plane, train or taxi, you can be enjoying yourself and actually having a holiday! Think of what you can do whilst travelling to your next destination – a morning swim, an afternoon drink or an evening show. Much better than being cramped onto an aeroplane trying to watch a film you’ve seen before.
