There are two PVE armours and 1 PVP armour, they are ALL endgame gear and each armour has different versions. It is hard to get DCUO mentors iconic armour. Here is a DCUO Armors Guide to help players Get Iconic Armors in DC Universe Online .

DCUO Armors Guide: Tip 1--Get Iconic Armors in DC Universe Online
First off, i know the vids DCUO site has posted say that theres two tiers of PVE armour, which is true, but you still cant reasonably get them until level 30ish as they cost, well ALOT at the moment. Each armour has different versions, theres a generic version, tank version, controller and a healer version. Now which one you can actually get depends on your class (DC Universe Online powerset ).

So for example, Ice and fire builds only get damage or tank roles, So they can choose the generic or tank versions of the armours. Gadgets/Mental can choose controller and generic versions, sorcery/ nature can choose healer and generic versions.

Meta -

PvE Lower : Flash
PvE Higher: Superman
PvP: Hawkman

Magic -
PvE Lower: Dr Fate
PvE Higher : Wonder Woman
PvP: Cpt Marvel

Tech -
PvE Lower: Steel
PvE Higher: Batman
PvP: Robin


Villan:
Tech -
PvE Lower: Metallo
PvE Higher: Joker
PvP: Deathstroke

Magic -
PvE Lower: Trigon
PvE Higher: Circe
PvP: Black Adam

Meta -
PvE Lower: Freeze
PvE Higher: Lex
PvP: Zod

DCUO Armors Guide: Tip 3--Get Iconic Armors in DC Universe Online
the iconic's Armors are level 30, so you cant get to them in beta especially you fast level up in DC Universe Online. but to be able to buy iconic's Armors (when you ARE level 30), you need to have enough reputation (REP), and you earn REP from questing, raids, "wanted's", etc.. but i imagin its like other MMO's where you have to repeat thiese things over and over again, 2-3 times a day for a couple weeks, then youll have enough REP.. end level gear in MMO's is never anything you get quickly.

Raven, Batman, all the roloes, each has 3 iconic armors.
Tech Joker, Mr. Freeze, dont remeber last
Tech Batman, Robin, Steel
Magic Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Raven
Magic Brother Blood
Meta Superman, Old Flash, Hawkman
Meta Lex, Bizzaro
