Disk Defragmentation—How to Improve Defragmentation Speed

If so, you ought to restart Windows and press “Ctrl” key till you enter the Windows startup menu, choose “Safe Mode” and then press “Enter”.   In this mode, Windows uses default settings which means it just need to start a minimum number of driver programs instead of any other automatically-running ones. That is to say, the whole disk defragmentation can be less interfered in such rather clear environment.
