That means the limited food you eat will no longer be available forenergy because you body has taken charge, and it will no longer let you spendyour resources on wasteful things like energy. What your body will do with your food instead is to store it as fat. That's tomake sure you will get through the long and difficult famine in relativesafety. Why long and difficult? Well chances are you have been through dietsbefore and the body has learned from experience that such famines need extrememeasures. Only the most dedicated and motivated dieter gets much beyond this point beforegiving up. Your hunger will eventually defeat you, not immediately, but instages. Bit by bit the weight will return and eventually you will find yourselfwith more weight than when you started. This is your body letting you know thatit has given you protection against the next famine. In other words, the more youdiet, the more you compound your weight problem. Realistically, to succeed with a diet means you have to stay on the diet. Nonormal human being will succeed to do that long term. It simply goes againstnature. That is why it can be said categorically that diets cannot and will notwork…Ever! So what about calories? Let's face it, once you realize that diets don't workwhy would you bother to count calories? Do you know that most people in the sixtieths and seventieths were not onlyunconcerned with diets and calories, they had no need to care. In those daysthe vast majority of people were of normal weight. Yet today two thirds of the populationis overweight and governments are talking about an obesity epidemic. Whathappened in such a relatively short time?  Only one thing could havehappened... Human intervention. But this is not about the problem.  This is about the solution, and yes, there most certainly is a solution to how you can lose weight for good. Thegreat thing about it is that unlike a diet this will not involve deprivation.Your body will not be under threat so it will have no cause to raise the alarm. You will not need a diet to get rid of your weight and you will not have anexcuse to count calories because you won't be hungry. It may sound too good, but that's because till now you have seen your weightproblem as an insurmountable obstacle to the things you want in your life andnone of us ever really believe that we can get everything we want . So let mereassure you by telling you that not only will the results make YOU happy, butyour body will be happy and nature will finally approve! You will be amazed how quickly you will come to view your permanent weight lossas something you don't have to think about. Normal weight will finally be one of those things you take for granted. http://www.my- own-plan.com Kirsten Plotkin Author
