Dota Strategy: A Good Way to Counter Silencer

Hi guys, in the last game I play, we went int based heroes for first pick such as rhasta, storm (me), and maiden. the bad part is, enemy pick silencer as it last pick, coupled with doom (damn that was a big one, smart move considering Im going to pick doom next to counter silencer).

Last word and global silence hit us, especially me hard hard. TBH, my storm cant freakin move and spell properly.

In ban phase, if we ban doom, there is no one that counter sile. If we dont ban doom, they will pick it if we go int ganker/ jumper, etc. Heroes like storm, akasha will have damn damn hard time.

Ok, I know that BKB will do good on storm against sile. Any suggestion about a good counter to silencer besides doom? If I got the last pick to counter silencer, which hero should I take that can help my team defeat silencer (besides doom). Coz perhaps we will ban doom next time we go int based heroes.

This is what i have been thinking:

1. Burst damage monstrosity Ursa (both jump, ursa unleash his fuzzy wuzziness). Combine with Puck /Bane?


2. Faceless.


3. Jumping Slardar.


4. God STREEENGTHH SVEN.


5. Tide ? .

Mannnnnn damn it, I cant decide. all this is just theory and I need to see it in practice, but can anyone give suggestion that is practicable and really really works?
