E-Business Model-Word of Mouth Marketing Starting from Employees of Enterprises

Word of mouth plays important role in e-business model now days. Therefore, a lot of famous enterprises such as DELL and VANCL are actively conducting online marketing to create a good image, for example, the logo of DELL frequently appears on various major social websites and blogs. Its all employees in different departments are encouraged to show themselves on the internet, which has become a part of marketing and communication plan.

As far as we all know, an e-commerce company without credibility among customers will not successfully sale out its products. Hence it is very necessary for enterprises to establish relevant department or team to carry out word of mouth marketing online, such as press dispatch, blog marketing, offline experience, interaction online, website improvement, promotion and update of seasonal products. On the one hand, it lets potential users know its products, on the other hand, it wants to them to buy the product.

It is easier to let people know one thing due to rich media means, but it needs a long time efforts to gain their credibility. In general, word of mouth determines the purchasing power. Thus, the marketing online of an enterprise can establish effective trust mechanism to quickly enhance company’s external image and reputation.

Actually, a lot of enterprises tend to focus on external image and reputation, often ignoring construction of internal image and word of mouth. The companies should know that employees are the first and most important group to introduce the products, their words, as well as their attitudes, their expression and their blogs are the direct narrator of corporate reputation and image.

Today, more and more traditional companies have joined the ranks of e-commerce whose rules need to be rebuilt, so the managers of enterprise should have a long term considerations. An enterprise which its employees are not responsible will sooner or later trigger faith crisis of its customers. If uses on longer trust the company, I can not imagine how the company will sale out its products. Hence it is very necessary for employees to set a good example, establish a sense of self-promotion.

For e-commerce business, word of mouth marketing should start form the inside of company. Let employees get what they should get, even though it does not write in the contact. If so, the employees will try their best to promote the products and actively work for the company.
