Prevent Myopia from teenagers is an essential matter for parents. As teenager’s myopia rate increased year after year and the myopia age has been younger, it is necessary for parents to take measure to prevent myopia from teenagers. Prevent myopia from teenagers must pay attention from childhood, here I will tell you five tips to prevent myopia from teenagers in daily life in the following: 1. Don’t use your eyes in close quarters for long time. Every 45-60 minutes to have a rest for 10-15 minutes. When rest, overlook through window or outdoor activities to make the eye adjust muscles relax abundantly. 2. Use moderate light when use your eyes in close quarters. Strong or weak light in close quarters are the important factors of causing myopia. Therefore, in the evening or dark place, you’d better use the 40-60W incandescent lamp on the left of your desk. Because the light of incandescent lamp is downier and has a good color development performance which the eyeball can adapt easily and prevent the eye fatigue from the dark or light ray. 3. Correct the eye position. Eye position in close quarters is another factor which causes the myopia. When use eye for close quarters, the desk and chair should have the right height ratio and books should place from eyes for 30cm. The bad eye habits such as reading on bus, reading when lying in bad or bend over wryneck reading will increase the burden of the eye adjustment, influx frequency and the stress of eye muscles to eyeball. Especially the teenagers, their eyeball are in the developmental stage, wall of eyeball extensibility is larger, long time and wrong position will lead to eyeball heteroplasia and cause myopia. 4. Take part in physical exercise actively and enhance physique. The physical quality has a close connection to the teenagers’ myopia. Such as malnutrition, chronic diseases, weak, engorge sweets are easy to myopia. 5. In daily life, for the teenagers eat balanced, increase physical training. In addition, do eye exercises is a good method to care and prevent myopia. Teenagers can do the eye exercises in the playtime to remove eye fatigue.
