Four NFL Wild Card games will be played this weekend to see who continues on to the post season with a chance to win it all.
The Cincinnati Bengals secured a wild card spot and take on the declining Houston Texans Saturday.
The surprising Bengals are led by an impressive QB in Andy Dalton, a sold run game and a stout AFC defense.
The Bengals will need a big day from its play makers including Andy Dalton, A.J. Green and Cedric Benson to have a shot.
The Texans have been falling behind recently due to losing its starting QB, RB and WR to injuries.
Even though the Texans have lost many of its key players it still won the division and will give Cincinnati fits.
Another Saturday wild card game between the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints will spotlight two offensive juggernauts.
Detroit can put up big numbers with the Saints porous defensive, and the same can be said for New Orleans giving both teams lots of ability to score.
This should indeed be a high scoring affair, but in the end a Saints run game will make the difference.
The first game on Sunday will see the Atlanta Falcons battle the New York Giants in E. Rutherford New jersey.
The Giants have been peaking at the right time and will be tough opponent at home against the Falcons.
Atlanta will need to do anything they can to keep Eli Manning in check including applying pressure to the re-emerging QB.
The Falcons will also need to get its big passing game going and keep Matt Ryan away from the Giants nasty defense.
The last Wild Card game has the Pittsburgh Steelers battling the surprising Denver Broncos in Denver.
Sadly, Denver is without Brian Dawkins its defensive leader to help secure a victory for rookie QB Tim Tebow.
With the 31st worst NFL passing offense Tebow will have to sustain long drives and put up points to have a chance to win this game.
It wont be hard for the Steelers to scheme against Tebow on defense.
On the down side, the Steelers will be without running back Rashard Mendenhall after a torn ACl last week and possibly Mewelde Moore.
Pittsburgh shouldn't miss a beat however, handing the ball to Ian Redman who can put up some pretty big numbers.
It should be a great weekend of NFL football!
