Good Tips for a Happy Liver in the Spring

Spring, the beginning of the year, is the season of recovery in all things. Doctors think that l iver is more active in spring than any other seasons just like vegetation is. Therefore, it is most significant to protect our liver to keep healthy in this season. Liver controls the smooth and even flow of energy and blood.  Several ways to keep liver active and healthy are as follows. Drink plenty of water to reduce toxins. Since early spring is cold and dry, people are prone to water shortage. People can not survive without water, so drinking water is beneficial to physical health . Water is in the function of adding fluids to body, enhancing blood circulation and promoting metabolism as well as speeding secretion of digestive gland and bile. More over, water has a vital importance of removing wastes and reducing metabolic products and toxins which have bad effect on liver. Keep balanced diet to make the function of liver normal. Do not eat too much a meal or often keep hungry. Bad diet habits will cause abnormal secretion of digestive juice and disorder liver function. Thus, we should keep balanced diet with protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, etc. Try to have less spicy food, and eat more fresh vegetables, fruits and so on. Do more physical movement and exercise both inside and outside. Movement and exercise are extremely important for a happy and healthy liver. Moderate your habits and balance your focus between inward and outward activities. Set routines for eating, sleeping, and exercising and keep them with regularity. Discover creative outdoor activities and pursue them. These are appropriate channels to express emotions. Keep always optimistic and cheerful . An optimistic attitude can make people healthy and liver strong. Studies show that easy anger is prone to leading to liver disease caused by poor Yang Qi in Chinese and blood stasis. Thus, you should first learn not to get angry if you want to leave live healthy. Try to be calm, optimistic, cheerful and careful. Certainly there are a variety of methods to keep liver stronger and healthier, the above are only a few of them. I will be very delighted if they are useful for all of you.
