Android 2.2 and Apple iOS 4.0 are two new phones in the mobile phone market. Many people are wondering which is to buy, following is the hands on comparison between Android 2.2 and Apple iOS 4.0.

Apple iOS 4.0 vs Android 2.2 comparison has started doing the rounds. Apple iOS 4.0 vs Android 2.2. Apple iOS market share grew higher in July as it is facing antenna issue in iPhone 4. The market share in June was 0.59 percent which grew to 0.7 percent in July.

Report says that antenna issue in handset didn’t affect company’s market reputation and still the most desired smart phone.

Apple iPhone first release in 2007 and has seen the most subscriber growth in US market. The other smart phones available in the market such as Motorola Droid X, the HTC Evo 4G and Google's Nexus One are the best competitor to Apple iPhone 4. It is estimated that around 29 percent Blackberry users and 21 percent Android users preferred Apple iPhone 4.

Neilson said "While the iPhone has been the headline grabber over the last few years in the smartphone market, Google's Android OS has shown the most significant expansion in market share among current subscribers,"
