Effective from 3rd August 2010, all Healthy Pets policies are now underwritten by AXA, one of the biggest pet insurance underwriters in the UK. The change in underwriter is a welcome move for pet owners who look for affordable cover as Healthy Pets strives to offer value for money.

Healthy Pets CEO and founder Mark Effenberg commented “I am delighted to announce the news that from August 3rd, Healthy Pets will be 100% underwritten by AXA. Healthy Pets and AXA Insurance have previously worked with each other in the past, and I am delighted to be working with this industry giant once again.”

“The future for Healthy Pets has never looked brighter, and I have the utmost confidence that AXA will help us continue our recent fortune and continue to grow to become one of the UK’s leading pet insurance companies.”

It’s been a great summer for Healthy Pets pet insurance which has also successfully re-launch its website earlier in July. The company was founded by Mark Effenberg in 1996 and has since developed into a leading internet company within the industry, offering pet insurance for older dogs and cats as well as younger animals.

AXA is the third largest pet health cover underwriter in the UK, has been established since 1816 and is ranked 9th largest company in the world by Forbes.
