It’s quite a shame that the majority of the British public takes our country and its many attractions for granted. This is no truer than on the subject of tourism and holidays; a lot of the natural attractions here in the UK get overlooked by people looking for expensive beach resort holidays abroad. When you consider how much effort goes into those holidays with passport applications, flight delays, excess luggage costs and many more headaches it can leave your time off feeling more like hard work than a relaxing break. Here in the UK we have many attractions that draw tourists here from abroad but here in the UK we often overlook the finer things here on our group of islands. The biggest draw for many families is that the UK can offer many family friendly resorts and holiday parks that are perfectly suited for young families. Travelling with young children especially babies and toddler scan be a stressful thing especially when flying or needing medical care whilst abroad. Here in the UK many hotels and holiday parks are aimed at providing a fun, carefree time for the whole family not just the adults or the children separately. With many activities and sports the whole family can enjoy being together which with parents working late and children doing homework can be a rare thing indeed. Many of these family-friendly resorts are located near to either the British coastline or one of our many National Parks so you can have either the beach lounging and sandcastle building or mountain biking and pony trekking depending on what the family wants to do. Many activities can be done either outdoors or indoors, understanding the Great British weather can be a bit poor at times the holiday resorts and companies know that they need to provide for their guests whatever the weather. Accommodation and dining options are equally focussed on the whole family. Hotels at UK holiday resorts are family oriented from children’s DVD players and bunk beds to wider corridors and buggy facilities. For families looking for a bit more space and cooking facilities there are family holiday apartments available even caravan parks for families who have a caravan to tow. So choosing holiday in the UK isn’t second best, especially for families looking for a holiday that they’ll all enjoy.
