How To Choose The Best Online Marketing Strategy For You and Your Business

Finding a marketing strategy that works for you, can be a difficult process.  I say this because there are so many marketing strategies to choose from, and there are so many opinions about which strategies are the best.Not to mention all of the products and courses that go along with all of the different strategies.

I wanted to make this post to offer just a little direction to your search.  The truth is that all of the different marketing strategies work.  The key is to know what you are looking for and find a strategy that works well for you and your situation.

First of all, there are basically two kinds of advertising that you can choose from.  You can pay for advertising, or you can use free marketing strategies to advertise you business.  Both have pros and cons.

It all pretty much boils down to the fact that free strategies will require your time, whereas paid strategies will require money.Also it is worth noting that free strategies usually take longer to produce results, whereas paid advertising provides immediate results.

Depending on your situation you are going to want to make a choice of whether you want to spend your time (and be patient for results), or if you want to spend your money and get immediate results.

If you have a lot of time on your hands, then maybe you will want to start with a free marketing strategy such as article marketing.  If you are busy working a job or taking care of a family then using a paid advertising strategy might me the way to go.

Once you have decided between paid or free advertising, it is time to find that one strategy that you are going to run with.  Finding a strategy that works for you depends a lot on your personal preference.

For instance- if you are very social, then facebook would be a great way for you to use your skills to network and build relationships with people.  If you are really analytical, then something like PPC would work well for you.

If you like to get on video and be creative with editing, then video marketing would be the obvious answer.  The key is to find a strategy that compliments your unique talents and abilities.

Once you find the strategy that works well for you, you want to stick to it until you get results.  You will always have time to learn new strategies and techniques after you get good at just one.  When you start to get your desired results from that one strategy, it will allow you to move into other advertising mediums.
