If you are like most people, then you have searched for product reviews when you were contemplating making a purchase. Many IM marketers are lazy and write their reviews based on other reviews and just reading about the product, and that is not the best way to do it. Personally, if there is no reasonable way to obtain firsthand experience, then we simply do not review it and find something else to promote. As you can easily imagine, or perhaps already know, you need to bring that to the table and also include a few other points, as well.A review is exactly what the name implies, and that excludes any copy that is cleverly, or not so cleverly, disguised as selling or hinting around that the reader should buy. You present an objective and unbiased review of a product, and that is the only thing you need to focus on. The majority of reviews we see only talk about the good things and rarely about anything negative, and that detracts from the objective nature. You cannot be afraid of turning people off with the truth; a solid product will have a few flaws and that is just the way it is. The writing style of your product review should be relaxed and friendly; your prospect shouldn't feel that they are reading a sophisticated piece of informational advice. Your words should be light and to the point, just avoid using any jargon when you're writing the review. On the other hand, after you know how you should be talking in your review, then just write in an informal manner. The writing part may require some additional work if you are not a good writer, and in that case be doubly sure your review is excellent. If you know about copywriting, then you should follow common conventions such as shorter paragraphs and sentences that are reasonable in length. People pay attention to a lot, and they will notice and remember if your reviews are on the mark and worth trusting. There are roughly half a dozen to maybe close to ten overall parts that can be included in a review to make it very strong. Do not try to fool people here because it is pretty easy to tell if the person has used the product or service. Your product reviews will work hard and make conversions when you do not play around with your copy and try to fool people in any way. You will see whether or not you have done a good job with your review, and if not then troubleshoot it and fix the problem. If you are just starting out in IM, then you are not ready to put your first review together because you still need to learn more.
