Yes, pop open the cover in the rear right of the vehicle. Look for water on the metal mount for the amplifier. Also, open the two fuse panels at the ends of the dash (open the front doors ro find them). Again, look for water marks.

yeah they just cleaned mine to see if that will fix the issue, they said they checked them. the opinion is if they still leak then the sun roof has to be replaced. I was talking to them about the sun roof install issue. they showed me the TSB, and theirs didn't have any VIN range on it so any 2007 can have the problem.

the first time they only did the left side and the air conditioning condencer drain, the sewcond time the did the right side and found the right side was plugged a bit and didn;t drain fast at all.

So we'll see , he said if the propblem is still there he will have to order the sun roof parts and replace the sun roof. I just had the back sun roof re done with somne new parts. wouldn;t close with the front control, the first dealer before I got the Q7 screwed that up. hope its fixed now.

Step 1. Check the sunroof drains, 4 of them 2 in front 2 in the rear. (had water on the back floor NB)
Step 2. Check the area around the air intake for the heat/ac. This was the problem in the passat, it can happen to any vw if the water does not drain away from the intake area. This was also the sorce of a recent leak from debree cloging the drains.
Step 3. Has the windshield been replaced? If it has and the old adheasive was not removed properly then the windshield could be leaking.(wet front drivers floor in the NB) If i parked the car facing down hill some times it would not leak
