First and foremost I want to begin once again by thanking you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this article. I realize that time is the most valuable commodity we humans posses. With that being said, my goal is to jam-pack this article with information that you can apply and see results from day one. This is real information that I’ve learned and have been using. Not just another fill in, generic, basic marketing 101 article. So let’s dive in! How is it possible to get paid while you prospect for leads? In the old MLM days, in order to succeed and recruit like crazy, you had to call and prospect to your warm market. You had to do 3 way calls with your sponsor. You had to purchase leads and work them. Basically chase people all over town with flyers and postcards. Friends start avoiding you because you might try to convince them to join you for your next hotel meeting. Ladies and gentlemen, there’s an easier better way to prospect, and also get paid to prospect. The way that works is creating a Self Liquidating Offer (or SLO for short). Almost unheard of in this industry! What exactly is an SLO? Before I elaborate, let me begin by stating that in my past articles I always mention to offer value and information instead of offering your MLM, business opportunity, or product. Reason for that is people don’t care about your compensation plan, or how your company is in pre-launch, or how many millionaires your company has. People want a solution for their problems. Read that last sentence again! That’s what people care about. What problems do people have which you can provide a solution for? In a nutshell, an SLO is a low ticket item you sell up-front to hook people then back-end your real product. Example, “John Doe” wants to lose some weight. “Jane Doe” comes along, and tells John that he can lose weight faster than possible using the information in a little $10 book. “John” buys the book for $10, and as he’s reading he’s loving the information within its pages. Also within the paragraphs there are references to use “Jane‘s” weight loss products for even better results! So as John is reading and eating up the information he’s also being exposed to Janes products without her pushing them on him. By the time he gets done with the book, if he wants to use products to lose weight, who do you think he’ll think of when he’s ready to buy? Exactly right! He’s going to chase Jane down to get his hands on her weight-loss products! (by the way, John is in no way related to Jane!) If you want to sell weight-loss products, first sell information on how to lose weight, and within the information mention your products. So even if a person doesn’t buy your $200 pills, you still made money on the $10 book which you would’ve never had. Plus, you now have a lead who already bought from you! A pre-qualified lead who will soon be a potential customer or business partner. Offer solutions to peoples problems. It applies to anything and everything. It doesn’t matter what your opportunity or product is. People buy into things they feel will benefit them and solve their problems. Find a problem, offer a solution. There you go ladies and gentlemen. Making money while you prospect in a nutshell. I wish I could dive into details, however for the sake if this just being an article I must keep it short.
