How to Install and Uninstall Apps for Android

Phones using the Android system have a large array of apps and games available for download. This article shows how to acquire them and remove them if necessary.

Nothing but a little time if you have an android based phone.

Step 1 There should be an applications menu that is easily accessible on your phone. There will be an Android Market application inside. Open it.

Step 2 You'll see lots of options. There will be apps, games, and a search function. Browse through the categories for some window shopping or use search to find something specific. Click on what you are interested in and you will see details and user comments. An install bar will show up on the bottom. If you want it click and your download will begin.

Step 3 To remove :

Is your app a little embarrassing or useless upon reflection? Removing it is easy.
Open the Google Android Menu.
Go to the Settings icon and select Applications.
Click on Manage.

You will be presented with a list of applications you have installed.
Select the application you want to uninstall, and click the Uninstall button.
