How to Install Skype onto HTC HD2

Method 1
1. Download Skype 3.0 for Windows Mobile from tab "download it directly on your device"
2. Save it on Storage Card - it's 11.5M
3. Turn on WiFi
3. Run SkypeMobile.cab

Method 2
If you try to install from the device itself then it wont work. From your laptop, go to http://www.skype.com...l/en-gb/mobile/ or http://www.skype.com/m then enter your mobile number with country code (0044 if UK). You will receive a message on your phone. Follow the link on the message, download the app to your device (not the memory card) then install.

It worked for me, hope the same for you.

Method 3
I got HTC hd2 on O2 works perfect on wifi and mobile connection.Only trouble is skype only works on loud speaker or I can use headset withit that I really dont want to do so. Red Chilli did you got mobile web setting details from O2? because the details mobile get auto seems to be not good enough.

You'll need to complete all steps for this to work.

Please ensure that when entering O2 into the settings that the letter O is selected and not a zero.

1. Tap Start
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Menu
4. Tap All Settings
5. Tap Connections
6. Tap Connections again
7. Under the My ISP heading, tap Add a new modem connection
8. Enter a name for the connection of O2 Mobile Web
9. Select modem type, choose Cellular Line (GPRS)
10. Tap Next
11. Enter the Access point name of mobile.o2.co.uk
12. Tap Next
13. Enter the Username of o2web
14. Enter the password of password
15. Skip past Domain and tap Finish
