How to Reduce the Noise of Air Condition

As people's demand to living environment is higher and higher, the requirements to the noise of household appliances are improved increasingly. Air condition is very common household appliances now. It can bring cool to us but we have to bear the boring noise. How can we reduce air condition noise?

First we must know the source of the noise. Air condition noise is come from compressor and fan refrigeration system. With the development of science, the noise which is produced by compressors has reached the level that it does not affect the whole air conditioner noise. So the most important problem is how to reduce the noise of fan refrigeration system.

Reduce the speed of the fan. Generally, four pole motors are used in producing air conditions. But sometimes two pole motors are used too. Most of the time the motor speed is in 1100r/min. Six polo motors are used widely recently. It makes air condition noise has reduced significantly.

Reduce fan size. The fan noise sound power is proportional to the square of fan diameter. So reducing the fan diameter can make the noise fall.

The resistance of wind system has a direct effect on the strength of the air blower. It is often be ignored by people in the air condition designs. So reducing each resistance of air condition wind paths is good for improving the air strength. Here are some methods.

Adopt high-efficiency heat transfer. In the condition of the windward acreage is invariable, reduce the number of heat exchangers. Then the wind resistance will reduce dramatically. The noise and the weight of air condition all reduced.

Reduce the radial dimension and increase the windscreen circle length.

Theoretically, the radial dimension between axial flow fan and break wind ring is less, the better it is. But if consider the performance of bulk production process, 5 to10 mm is very appropriate.
