How to Rename Heroes in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

After going dark six years ago, 2010 will see a new dawn. Golden Sun DS updates the popular portable Golden Sun role-playing series with an impressive graphical style. This installment follows the story of the previous heroes' descendants and immerses players into the magic of its adventure by pushing the boundaries of intuitive touch-screen controls.

I take it either the rename code was left out in this golden sun or the code is just hard to find. After attempting to figure out this difficult puzzle i am curious to see if anyone else has had any luck. I've spent way to long button mashing

Golden Sun Dark Dawn Rename Heroes Tips 1:
You can't rename anyone other than Matthew. I thought it was pretty clear when the Japanese version came out.

Golden Sun Dark Dawn Rename Heroes Tips 2:
No button combo to unlock naming other characters. There may be a AR code for it though.

Golden Sun Dark Dawn Rename Heroes Tips 3:
I think it's unlikely there is any code to rename them. Their names appear to be hardcoded into the game, because they change depending on what language your DS is set to, unlike Mut. For example, Terry is Terry in Spanish, but Tyrell in English.
