How To Transfer Files From Motorola Droid X To Computer

1. Ensure that your memory card is inserted.

Note: If your memory card is not inserted, you will receive "Please insert a disk" when trying to access the phone. If your card is inserted correctly and is still not being recognized, you may have unmounted it. Disconnect and then reconnect USBcable to computer and handset. Wait until handset recognizes connection. If you feel you need to format your memory card

2. Connect your device to a computer using a data cable. (It is recommended to connect directly to the computer, not through a hub). If your phone is not being recognized by your computer or your phone does not show connection notification, you may need to update your computer's USB drivers HERE.

3. Go to Notifications (by touching the notifications bar at the top of the handset's screen and dragging it down

4. Touch the “USB connection” notification Image

5.Touch USB Mass Storage. Computer will recognize handset as an external drive.

6. Use your computer interface to move files between your device and your computer.
