Twitter is a super popular system which can be updated easily. Users can send their ideas and moods to their friends timely and quickly through making brief word messages online. And uses can receive the messages by cellphones or IM. Promoting blogs through Twitter also can be possible because the influence of Twitter has enlarged more and more. Here are four tips for promoting your blog by using Twitter.

1. User register
You can register with your common user name if your blog has been well-known already. There will be many attentions naturally. Contrary, you’d better use a eye-catching ID and modify your head portrait. For example, you can change your own photo to be a lady-killer or a beauty. Then many strangers will give attentions to you. It’s really effective!

2. Add friends
Look for someone you like and add them to be your friends. Remember to add more hot figures because they often follow you if you follow them. You can add your friends on Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail by using the invite system of Twitter if you use email frequently. Then you can add many friends and send some interesting messages to them.

3. Content construction
You must give enough attention on the quality of content. Be sure not to make a fuss about an imaginary illness. Remember publish more interesting messages and explosive news. You must grab the first time to publish the break news.

4. Promote blog
Encourage your friends on Twitter to visit your blog. Publish your latest blog on Twitter because they usually visit your publishing articles when they visit you on Twitter. There is no need for you to update articles on Twitter manually. You can use third-party tool which can publish your latest blog on Twitter by itself. Now the most popular third-party tools are Twitterfeed and Feedlr. Twitterfeed.com can publish your RSS Feed content on Twitter automatically, and change the URL to TinyURL by itself. You need to use OpenID to login in. Feedlr.com is a service similar to Twitterfeed.

At last, I advise that you’d better not abuse Twitter and the similar services to promote blog. Otherwise the result may be just the opposite of wish.
