Writing a product reviews of items you've used or purchased can be a great way to share useful information with other shoppers, promote products you love or just build your writing portfolio. Buy or use the product. This is perhaps the most important step. If you've never used the product, don't pretend, write a review one of the thousands of items you have used.
Find a place to write your review. Personal blogs, review sites and forums are great places to give your feedback.
Get writing - Use concrete examples based on the way you used the product. Did your vacuum cleaner pick up your dog's hair like a dream, but disappoint on hardwood floors?
Use your own voice. No need to be overly formal, a coherent, conversational tone is just fine.
Be balanced - Talk about what you liked AND what you didn't like about the product. The most helpful reviews aren't the raves, but the ones that help readers know exactly what to expect.
