I Admit That I Fall In Love With A Serial Killer

How can I even begin? Dexter is one of my all time favorite TV shows, which leaves me wondering what that says about me! In the first few minutes to see I'm hooked.

Dexter, a Showtime original series is an eccentric, creative look into the mind of a serial killer. But the show comes with a twist. The show is based on the novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay. [Note to self "Pick up book to read."]

Dexter is a TV crime drama written by a man named Dexter Morgan [Michael played in Hall]. In this series, Dexter is to lead a double life hiding who he really is. Working with the Miami Police Department Forensic Lab as a blood splatter analyst at the side of the same people who would destroy, for the ethical development [as if] the fact that a serial killer. Dexter only to hunt and kill other criminals, serial killers who would not be prosecuted in another way.

Dexter discovers his true self, when he was a child. His stepfather, played by James Remar teaches him to act as he has feelings like everyone else. Dexter is constantly struggling with this, seen in its attempts to regular relations. His thoughts are conveyed during the show gives you an insight into the mind of a calculating serial killer, the only difference is that you feel like it. When you begin to understand where it comes from and how he tries so hard to be "normal" as you start to feel sorry for him. You actually root for him and hope he has discovered.

Her beautiful sister, Debra Morgan, played by Jennifer Carpenter is a tough cop killing and determined, which is very dependent on her brother for advice. Dexter feels torn between her loyalty to her and her true identity.

Sgt. James Doak, played by Erik King, seems to have a sixth sense, and suspects that Dexter is not the man he claims to be. I say, "Danger, Dexter. He knows."

Dexter's girlfriend, Rita [played by Julie Benz] has been left emotionally damaged by a bad relationship. Dexter feels some kind of protection against her and her children. As he explains his feelings, she has an anchoring effect of Dexter begins to shed his self-confidence.
