In the daily stresses of life a marriage requires a coordination between two people to achive the best outcome. This doesn't always happen so then there are conflicts that come up, it's going to happen, there is no avoiding it. With two humans in a household there will be different opinions about situations but this doesn't mean there's a marriage problem at hand. When the conflicts bring up something that is beyond the capabilities of couple to handle it then the marriage problems start. The issue to this will be where the couple can't find a resolution or they keep the conflict going beyond the time when it should be over. These types of problems will come up when the communication has become ineffective between the two partners, and that then creates more issues in trying to resolve anything. When many couples hit this breaking point they will usually try to work things out, but without the communication skills to listen and objectively resolve problems, feelings get hurt and many times these marriage problems can't be resolved. This often times leaves couples with one of two options: to seek out a marriage counselor, or to divorce. To avoid divorce, attempting to participate in counseling may seem like a good plan but a lot of the time the couple are too far gone before they ask for help so then end up in divorce despite the counseling. Going to a marriage counselor appears to be an easy solution, the counselor will fix my problems and save my marriage but this isn't really how it works, they lack an understanding of the function of marriage counselors.Marriage counseling can only be successful if both parties are willing to accept responsibility for their part in the breakdown of the marriage and are willing to work together to repair the problems that exist. And for those that are willing to work together to repair their marriage there are many counseling resources that may be just as effective, like books and tapes, that can help just as much as a marriage counselor, but cost a whole lot less.Prior to making any decisions about your saving marriage problems, go to lightyourfire.com.
