Are you saving for retirement or are you letting the government savefor you?  Are you currently collecting Social Security? How do you usethe money? What things do you have to go without?  What is your plan? After asking yourself these questions ask your self this: Could Savings Highway be the solution to your retirement woes? If you want to keep up your current standard of living as a retiree, the rule of thumb is that you’ll be spending monthly at least 80percent of what you’re spending now, that other 20 percent you won’t bespending accounts for work-related expenses: gas or publictransportation fares for your commute, dry cleaning bills, lunches andsuch. If you plan to travel, play more golf or spend your summers on ahouseboat, you’ll quickly make up that 20 percent you thought you weresaving by not working. There’s a big difference in planning for a 20-year retirement and a40-year retirement. Perhaps the most important factor when calculatinghow much you’ll need is how early you want to retire. One way to get started on your early retirement budget is to use one of the many free online retirement calculators tofigure out how much you’ll need in net worth to retire at a certainage. But the only way to know if your planned retirement spending willwork is to try a dry run. Try to live for three months on the estimatedmonthly amount that you hope to live on when retired. If it’s notworking now, it definitely won’t work when you factor in increasedhealthcare and insurance costs. You can try to keep up with the “Joneses” or you can do things theright way and yes, it can be difficult for some but it doesn’t have tobe that way.  Be a little more frugal. Pay yourself first, and mostimportantly take advantage of the many benefits Savings Highway has to offer.  Working online and showing people how they can savemoney on things they buy daily and by showing them how to make money inthe process has become MY focus and quickly showing me that this is mysolution to my retirement woes.  Anyone can do what I am doing if theyjust apply themselves. Saving for retirement in the good ole U.S.A. wouldn’t be so difficult if wedidn’t have to spend our entire pay check as if there’s no tomorrow. As for me, I’ve got a plan and it doesn’t include working full-timepast 40.  I’m 34 and although retirement seems far away, it will behere before I know it.  I will retire earlier than most because Iplanned for it!  I have made my decisions and strive towards my goals. You won’t be hearing “Oh woe-is-me” coming from this gal! If you are looking for a solution to your retirement woes, you knowhow to contact me.  It is my mission to educate people and bringsavings and financial wealth everywhere! http://thesavingshighwayclub.com To Your Savings and Success, Angie Mitchell angie@amitchellonline.com Skype: angiebt79828 250-378-6798
