Halls Creek is another isolated town located on the northern edge of the Tanami Desert. This town is ussually accessed by travelers for a night to rest purpose. This place would really get you got during the summer to about 50 degree celcius. “The Dry” is April to September and “The Wet” or rainy days are from December to February. Fitzroy Crossing, is 400 km east of Broome and 300 km west of Halls Creek with mostly aboriginal people. It is set on the banks of the mighty Fitzroy River, is the gateway to Geikie Gorge an iconic Kimberley attraction. May to October days are warm and dry and nights are cool. When the rain reigns, flood enters Fitzroy. A full flood makes Fitzroy one of the largest rivers in the world. Derby the pioneer town of the Kimberley is famous for its boab trees. Offering outback adventures both land and sea. Explore the Gibb River Road, the awesome Horizontal Waterfall and the Buccaneer Archipelago. Broome the famous of the six towns. Features pristine beaches, rugged inland ranges and gorges, the wineries and the forests and an awesome holiday. Famous for the stunning Cable beach, Margaret River Wine, and pure Outback adventure.
