Learn How to Quickly Fix Blue Screen of Death

Blue screen of death is an error screen which is used to prevent any system damage from the windows general protection fault error. It is a common error that is caused whenever Windows senses any software, hardware or driver errors preventing your operating system from running properly.

The main reasons for blue screen of death are:
Hardware problem. Often new installations cause the problem and taking it out will resolve the issue.
Registry errors. If you have used your computer for a long time, the configurations of your registry is becoming further and further away from the original settings, and the registry errors will be accumulated to lead to many PC problems, including blue screen of death.
RAM problems. This is another cause of the Windows XP blue screen of death, although it is a less common. If you have tried cleaning out your registry but it doesn't help your blue screen problem, you may need to get your RAM checked and possibly replaced.

How to fix blue screen of death?
1. Reboot the computer.
The safest and most commonly used troubleshooting method is by rebooting or restarting the computer. It may be simple, but often, especially when the cause is not that severe, the problem is fixed right away by this procedure.

2. Detect hardware problem.
You can also detect by yourself if there's a hardware problem. Turn on the computer in safe mode, if there's a blue screen with error codes, jot them down, they can be helpful in the long run. If still there's a blue screen, restart, if the problem persists it is most definitely due to a hardware problem. Try to remove your newly installed hardware. If there's still a blue screen run a spy ware or a virus scan. If there are infected files or programs fix them first and then restart in normal mode.

3. Change the Ram
Changing Ram is little inconvenient. You'll need to check it the rams at fault. If its a DIY computer and you have 2 sticks of RAM, remove one and see if the problem comes back. Or download Ram checking software to test if the ram is faulty. If you're using Dell or HP, they should have tech support and their own software inbuilt to test the RAM functionality. So just call them for help.

4. Use a registry cleaner.
Registry cleaner will run a free scan of your computer and look for errors, especially the ones that cause the blue screens. Once it finds these it will fix the errors, then your computer will be back to its original speed and optimal performance. Just run the registry cleaner once a week and you will be able to safe from blue screen error.
