Leveraging Your Resources To Build Your Home Business

I heard something very interesting the other day, that caused me to think differently about business.  After I heard this one statement it caused HUGE shifts in the way I thought about building a business.

Of course, I want to share this with you because it is one of those “golden nugget” pieces of information that can change the way you think about things.
So the statement said something like this …

“people with a lack of money think that they need more money to start a business, and people with a lot of money think that they need more time to start a business.”

It makes sense, but it still never occurred to me that time is a VERY valuable asset.  You really don’t need a lot of money, if you have the TIME to put into your business.

This especially applies to online marketing because it takes time to learn and implement.   It is possible to get relatively quick results online, but you are still going to have to put in the time it takes to learn the concepts.

You really don’t even have to have a ton of time either.  If you just apply yourself to studying the concepts for a few hours a day you will begin to pick it up quickly.  The key is to be consistent with your efforts.

What Does This All Mean For You?

Well, it seems to me that a lot of people think that they are lacking something that it takes to succeed, whether it be time,money or any number of things.  When you know that, you can begin to leverage what you DO have.

If you don’t have money, then you need to leverage your time in order to create money for yourself.  If you do have money, then you need to leverage that into advanced training that is going to speed up the learning curve for yourself.

Do The Best You Can With What You Have

There are a lot of personal development quotes that say something to that effect.  You want to do the best you can with the resources you have.  This is really important to remember because most people tend to look at what they DON’T have.

You will be much more effective and successful if you appreciate the resources you DO have. i.e.  a computer, internet connection, information, time, money.. whatever it may be.

Leverage Your Resources

When I first started online I had NO money whatsoever.  I didn’t have money but I did have free time that I could devote to my business.  Leveraging my time is what made it possible for me to grow my business.

The point I want to make is that you need to leverage your resources.  When most people think about their resources they automatically think of money, but time is just as big of resource.

Get Started

You may feel like you are limited in resources, but that is simply not true.  If you are reading this then you have a computer, you have an internet connection, you can read, and I am almost certain you can spare a few hours a day to change your life.

Remember that both sides of the financial equation think that they are lacking resources.  Find what you have and leverage the heck out of it!
