Live, automated scoring has developed fantasy football from very good to amazing. Due to developments in fantasy football websites in the last handful of years, we can currently appreciate seeing the scores update on the web for our fantasy football player pretty much the instant he performs on the field in real time.
There is something enslaving about the rush of seeing your quarterback about to be sacked, then at the final second he spins out of it, throws it to a running back and he catches the defense off guard and runs it in to score from twenty five yards back. As you glance at your computer display, the deficit you were dealing with is instantly wiped away, and you are within just a couple of points of your opposition. Play by play, you watch the points add up until eventually the Monday night time game is finished and you see that you came out victorious.
This kind of excitement was not feasible before the internet took fantasy football to the subsequent stage. We previously had to write down which players we desired to play that week, phone the draft commissioner to tell him, and wonder which players we were going up in opposition to. Sometime the next week after all the games were completed we would learn for sure who had won our matchup. There were scoring controversies, lineup problems, and other complications that happen with human error. The play by play excitement as I described previously did not exist in the fantasy football universe. It was only available to gamblers who chose bets on each minute element of the game.
Another enjoyment from the live updates happens from observing other fantasy team names football either fail to score, fumble, or throw an interception. In my league, fumbles and interceptions count for negative points. It’s wonderful to watch the opposing team's points melt away. You can also watch the real time scores of additional teams in your league, including ones in your division. Perhaps you are in the quest for first place, and require a loss by the other team to keep your playoff hopes alive. Well now you can observe what is going on and know right away how your playoff chances are looking.
Yes, for many NFL fans, fantasy football has added an additional element of satisfaction to viewing the games. You’ll find yourself engaged in otherwise uninteresting games, due to a player on that team you need to perform for your fantasy team. You'll think, "What should my fantasy team names football be next week?" The attractiveness of fantasy football will without question continue to grow and uncover new fans as new tools are continuously formulated to greatly enhance it.
