Local events and more with DirectMatches

While DirectMatches does not have the typical hyped up rah-rah of hotelmeetings or national conventions, they do occasionally have localevents. Some of those local meetings might be in your own backyard oryou can volunteer to host one. If you go to your "my profile" page and click on the "events" tap, youwill see a list of all the events that are to take place that day andcoming up. This is where we also list our team calls that take place onTuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Since the company is headquarteredin Reston, VA, they always have a live monthly meeting. You can alsowrite to the company to open up your own monthly meeting in your area,provided you are qualified to do so (which is listed on the site). Thiswould not only give you an opportunity to bring current DirectMatchesmembers together, but to also invite other business owners to your ownnetworking event. People can come and bring business cards and sharetheir business with others as well as sign up for DirectMatches. Everybusiness owner needs a profile on this site. Now here is where things get really cool. Did you know that you canpost your own live events on this site. That is, live "physical"events, not call ins. This can be for anything, including fund raisers,seminars, work shops, corporate meetings, you name it. Of course, itwould all go through approval of DirectMatches. But, just think howpowerful this is. And, the event is going to be linked back to yourprofile. And at least one current event of the day will be listed oneveryone's profile.
