London Summer Olympics Tickets are on Sale Soon!

Yes, London Summer Olympics Tickets are on sale soon! March 15th to be exact. Start the countdown! And once March hits, start the countdown to the XXX Olympiad. Gosh, its so soon, huh? Less than 15 months. Phew, I’m exhausted just thinking about the hours of planning, hours of construction, and hours training team London Olympics (the International Organizing Committee, the construction teams working on the facilities and the athletes, of course!) have been putting in! But no time for naps. Not with tickets going on sale.

And which events to select? The swimming? Soccer? Gymnastics? Track! or the cycling competitions? So much to choose from, right? Well, the hottest ticket will be the Opening Ceremonies. Expected to be held at the newly constructed Olympic Stadium in Stratford Park, East London (represent all y’all Islington hotels!), one can only imagine what the brilliant dancers, artists, musicians, engineers, etc. are dreaming up for London’s debut. Not their first, and hopefully not their last, the XXX Olympiad promises to showcase the capital in all of its twenty-first century wonder. Yes, this London Olympics is going to fresher than London 1948! Flashier, sixty-three years more progressive, and not recovering from World War II, the 2012 Summer Olympics promises to be one heck of a celebration for the athletes and grand ol’ London.

So here is what needs to be done (got your pens and calendar ready?): purchase a pair of tickets to an XXX Olympiad event. Doesn’t matter which, they will all be awesome. Source a flight for the big week. Start early, save money. Book one of the hotels in Islington. Close to Olympic Park, modern and luxurious. Figure out transportation (the new Olympic Javelin line will be connecting Docklands and Canary Wharf to Stratford). And get excited. London 2012 will be epic!
