Your Internet marketing strategy is essential for the survival of your business. The mistake most business owners with online marketing is that they have a strategy. Yes, they have a website, but then error to have a strategy. To use an analogy, is like having a gym and all equipment, but does not actually go there to pump iron, get on the bike and break a sweat.

The faca is that most web sites are just online brochures: they say that if not sold. You can read more about this in other articles on this site. Your website should be an integral part of its business and marketing.

Two critical concepts you must understand

Make your website work as an integrated part of your business depends on you to understand these two concepts: get more visitors to your website, making them into paying customers and clients. That's really all boils down a. Once you look at it this way, it is obvious that we need an Internet marketing strategy due consideration: If you do not take into account how you will get visitors, there is no reason to have a great website. And if you do not have a website aimed at converting visitors to paying customers and clients, there is no point in sending traffic to it.
Stop thinking about your website!

It is often useful to think of your website as a collection of individual web pages, not as a homogeneous web site. And each page should be a piece of the marketing in its own right. This means each page, like all marketing pieces than ever to create, you must have a purpose and one purpose. And part of your Internet marketing strategy is to decide what the purpose of each page. Not necessarily have to be to make a sale, but you have to have a purpose. After all, if the page has no purpose, why is it there?
This means that each page should follow the AIDA formula and draw the attention of your visitors, get their interest, provoke some sort of desire and then to take action.
Why do you only want qualified visitors

Having more visitors is not always better. Visitors will cost money to get, one way or another, so putting time, effort and money to attract visitors who are never going to buy is a waste. The purpose of marketing is not having a big list for your own good. The list is key to making money, and that depends on how likely your list wants to buy their products and services. So it's better to have a short list of highly qualified buyers (ie, well adapted to their offerings), which is having a huge list of nobody indifferent. A well thought out Internet marketing strategy gives you exactly that.
Clearly, a long list of highly qualified people is the best, but if you must choose, go for the most likely to buy. And in general, the narrower your niche, the higher your price will be.
Putting it all together

The biggest mistake you can make with this is trying to do everything at once. The key to an effective strategy for Internet marketing is test, test, and then test some more. By using some simple strategies, tips and techniques you can quickly and easily focus on what works and eliminate what does not. Do not be fooled by people selling you get rich overnight products. There is no instant success. It can be fast, and it is not difficult ... but it takes a little time and effort. Most things worth doing.
